SCOTUS has ruled that Mango Mussolini can resume deporting people to third world countries without due process. SCOTUS has determined, once again, that Trump is not constrained by that pesky Constitution of the United States. The three liberal justices on the court dissented.

The right has an agenda. They do not believe in democracy. I’m not even sure they believe in the Christian theocracy they so much claim they want. What they are left with is the kakistocracy they created when they unchained Trump from any rule of law he may have had to follow otherwise.

Through this, we are descending into a kleptocracy as well. Earlier, I posted about a protest today. The Trump administration wants to sell off 250 million acres of public land. Hiking trails, ski areas, wilderness study areas, national monuments, and wildlife migration corridors will cease to exist in the name of corporate profit. One can imagine that any bid made on those lands will require a kickback to the Kleptocrat-in-Chief. I wonder if they will even try to hide it.

In the end, the right will never get the whites only paradise they think can be built on the corpse of the Republic of the United States of America. Given the response from the left thusfar, however, I don’t think they are going to get the resistance that has to happen to stop all this either. The left is still acting like this can be voted and legislated away.

In other words, we are fucked.

If you are in, or around, Santa Fe, NM today, please go protest the Trump administration’s plan to sell off public lands to Trump’s rich cronies.

The rally begins at 3:30 pm, at De Vargas Park (302 W De Vargas St.). It will be followed by a march to the El Dorado Hotel (308 W San Francisco St.), where Secretary of the Interior Doug Bergum will be speaking at the Western Governors Association Annual Meeting. Parking is available at
Sandoval Parking Garage (217 W Water St.), Water Street Municipal Lot (100 E Water St.), Railyard Public Parking, and the State Capitol Facility (485 Galisteo St.).

If Mango Mussolini is allowed to sell our precious public lands, then a great part of the United States will be lost. National Parks, and other public lands, are the legacy of Theodore Roosevelt, our 26th President. Don’t let 47 destroy that legacy and let private companies strip the beauty of our land.

Sorry I have been gone a couple days, but I was somehow locked out of this page.

While everyone is debating the good and bad of Trump’s attack on Iran (spoiler: it is bad for reasons I will get into), very few people are looking at a bigger problem. Trump has now attacked another country without Congressional approval. This is a problem. It is another sign that he has no problem wiping his substantial ass with the Constitution.

Now, back to the attack itself. Trump telegraphed this when Israel first attacked. He posted (truthed, as he puts it) about how “we” (US armaments) did a great job destroying Iranian targets. Before I continue, I have long believed that the Iranian government needs to be toppled, but this was not it.

Trump federalized National Guard troops in LA. He is allowing ICE to hire contractors (read: bounty hunters) to grab immigrants off the streets. Mango Mussolini has stated that he wants to expand that by putting troops on the streets in large cities in Democratic states.

This attack on Iran is likely going to raise the chances of terrorist actions on US soil. It would not be a far stretch for him to claim troops are needed for “added security.” It is a pretext for him to use.

Considering his decision to attack is very likely based on his need for a win. Given his declining poll numbers, and the nationwide protests against him and his racist policies, I am sure his lizard brain saw this attack as a way to boost his political capital. It might even work to a limited extent and for a brief period of time.

We are living in one of the oldest curses of all time: interesting times.

This is the United States in 2025. Don Snorleone likes to think of himself as some powerful mafia boss. As President, he has decided he is the dictator in chief. To him, Congress is only there to pass the laws he needs that cannot be done through any executive order, which is his preferred method of “governance.”

He will push his “immigration” policies no matter who he has to hurt. His immigration policy comes directly from his advisor, Stephen Miller, a man so broken… so hateful… so souless, that he would see children ripped from their mothers’ arms. He would see innocent people tortured in foreign prisons just because of the color of their skin. All this harm is done to try and fill the gaping hole where Miller’s heart should be.

Protesters across the country have shown their distain for Trump and all his hateful rhetoric. Sadly, Trump is learning new ways to hate to make up for it. His administration is working hard to make sure no place is safe for any immigrant, undocumented or otherwise. The Trump administration is now canceling the immigration hearings of people trying to legally immigrate to the United States and then having ICE arrest them at the courthouse. All this is being done so Mango Mussolini can keep the deportation numbers up to look tough to his racist base.

Plus, ICE has learned a new trick from their boss, Cruella de Vil (Kristi Noem). Just arrest any Democrat who dares even question what you say. First, she had Senator Alex Padilla arrested and cuffed just for the temerity of questioning her in front of the press. Now, New York City comtroller, Brad Lander, was arrested for trying to walk a man out of the courthouse after his immigration hearing was canceled by the Trump administration.

Both men were released relatively quickly, but all of this is designed to have a chilling effect on dissent. It is straight from the Fascism 101 playbook. If an elected official can be arrested, just what will they do to the citizenry? Trump has also directed ICE to concentrate their efforts in major Democratic strongholds.

Still, all in all, Trump is being consistently backed into a corner between protests and continuing losses in the courts. There is nothing more dangerous than a dumb animal that feels cornered. Today, he began talking about victories in the middle-east as if the United States had anything to do with Iranian losses. Mr. “no new wars” may well take us into one, or two (Greenland beware), just so he can reassert his power.

Interesting times.

Mango Mussolini has show naked corruption during his second term. Of course, he showed a great deal of corruption during his first term as well. Still, Trump owned and affiliated businesses have received a lot of money from foreign governments in violation of the Emoluments Clause.

We cannot forget the crypto coin he started selling while a candidate the second time. Nor should we forget all the partisan political merchandise he sold both at the West Point graduation and at his birthday parade. We should remember the blatant graft he took during his first term when he owned a hotel in DC.

The biggest violation is the airplane he accepted from the Qatari government “for free.” The airplane that will be donated to his Presidential museum for his personal use when he leaves office, which he will do everything in his power to avoid. For him, this is just one big money grab.

When Mango Mussolini was campaigning for his second term, he promised his more racist supporters that he was going to arrest and deport every undocumented immigrant in the US… and maybe some documented immigrants. If he was feeling saucy, he would go after a few naturalized citizens. He promised his mildly and racist adjacent supporters that he would only go after undocumented immigrants with criminal records.

Trump being Trump, he immediately started going after any undocumented immigrant ICE could find. He wanted to show big numbers to make it look like he was actually honoring a campaign promise. He had ICE, led by ICE Barbie, Kristi Noem, start raiding the most obvious places to find undocumented workers. They raided hotels, meat packing plants, farms, and even the parking lots of Home Depots. Today, I received reports that ICE was seen in the employee parking lot of Universal Studios Orlando. I do not know if the latter is true, but I would not be surprised.

Herein lies the problem… the Orange Idiot and Cruella de Vil (again, Kristi Noem) were damaging the businesses of people who supported his election and they were PISSED. Social media reports of buyer’s remorse were frequent and acerbic. We all watched Trump begin yet another of his epic meltdowns, especially as his poll numbers continued their downward spiral.

That led to this week where Dimwit Don went to his goto move… he TACOed. Trump announced he wanted ICE to stop raiding the previously aforementioned locations and to begin concentrating on the actual people he promised to go after during his campaign. Of course, ICE Barbie cannot follow instructions well or ICE would not have been reported at Universal Studios as late as today.

48% of the voting electorate wanted this… in the 21st century. To quote Will McAvoy, from ‘The Newsroom’, “We aspired to intelligence, we didn’t belittle it; it didn’t make us feel inferior.” Trump and the GOP, however, want the electorate uneducated and stupid. Otherwise, they know they have no chance of ever being in charge again.

Trump himself said he loved the poorly educated. Of course he does.

Trump’s birthday parade “cleverly” disguised as a celebration of the 250th anniversary of the US Army was apparently a total bust. According to sources, less than 10,000 people attended. According to photographs, it appears to be a lot less than 10,000. Photos of Trump showed a miserable old man sitting in the rain. He looked upset too.

On the flip side, early numbers on the ‘No Kings Protests’ indicate more than 11,000,000 people attended to protest against Trump and his dick-tatorial policies. That is a bit less than 3.5% of the population of the United States. Statistically, that is actually a huge number of people.

It is also indicative of a growing movement that is strongly in opposition of the Trump administration. We have reached an inflection point. Dictators fear protest. They make every attempt to squash protests against them. Trump has tried, and failed, to threaten protesters in this country.

As a reminder to all of you, Trump wanted to shoot protesters during his first term. This was when he walked to St. John’s Church, in Washington DC, for a photo op with an upside down bible. While the shooting never happened, the DC Metropolitan Police did fire tear gas into a peaceful crowd.

General Mark Milley later apologized for his role in the photo op. Trump has been attacking him ever since. His divisive rhetoric has led to many incidences of violence up to, and including, the murder of a state legislator and her husband yesterday. Today, a man drove into a crowd of protesters, in Culpeper, VA. Of course, we cannot forget the vicious attack on Paul Pelosi in 2022. MAGAts celebrated the attack and ridiculed Mr. Pelosi for months afterwards.

This is the United States of America in the 21st century. We are hurtling towards a future that is, ironically, mired in the past.

A Minnesota state legislator and her husband were murdered by a man inpersonating a police officer. The suspect also shot and injured another lawmaker and his wife. The suspect shot at actual police officers as he fled the scene of one of the attacks.

Law enforcement found the suspect’s car and inside was a manifesto and a target list of other people he scheduled for assassination. As well, the suspect planned to target an anti-Trump protest.

This is the United States today. Deranged individuals are empowered by this administration and Mango Mussolini’s divisive rhetoric. There has been no statement on these horrific crimes by the White House. I assume the Orange Idiot is too busy stroking himself in the grandstand as his birthday parade passed by.

But, MAGA isn’t a cult.

Today, US Senator for California, Alex Padilla, was forcibly removed from a press conference being held by Kristi Noem, Secretary of Homeland Security.

Noem stated she thought Padilla was an attacker, which beggers credibility. Unidentified men, not in any uniform, grabbed Senator Padilla and removed him from the room. Padilla identified himself as a US Senator while he was being shoved from the room.

Later, video shows men in law enforcement uniforms identifed as uniformed FBI took Padilla to the ground and handcuffed him. One of the ununiformed men eventually blocked the camera with his body during the arrest, stating video recording was not allowed.

Noem later claimed that Padilla launched himself at the podium and claimed he did not identify himself. Again, video shows Padilla identifying himself to those men and the room.

This is the current government of the United States. Unidentified men, not in any uniform, are used, especially by Noem, to intimidate, harass, and arrest civilians and members of government who will not go along with their fascist ways.

This is just the beginning. If they feel this comfortable now, it will only get worse if they are allowed to continue. But, we all know there will be no investigation into this, or any other, incident.

While we are all paying attention to the growing protests in LA and across the nation, the major airlines sold all your flight information to Customs and Border Protection.

The Dept. of Homeland Security has stated this information is needed to track “persons of interest” within the United States, however, experts in civil liberties are rather alarmed by this information exchange. To add to the alarm, the Airline Reporting Corporation told government agencies not to publicize where this information came from.

Well, all that sounds like it is on the up and up. /sarcasm
